Mental Health in the Hybrid Workplace

What a year 2021 is turning out to be. We had such high hopes following the “lost” year of 2020 & I for one thought 2021 would be much easier…

Nearly half way through the year and we still can’t travel and are probably never going to return to work in the way that we knew it, just to name a couple of examples of what is going on right now.

There is no way that the events of the pandemic and our experience of loss and or change cannot affect us. I have children too and can see that finally this is also affecting them. I have learned to be kinder to myself and to let things flow over me, rather than try to control everything but it’s hard….

Getting back to work is now a priority for many, but we are working with many enterprises that have realised that there is no “going back”. The way FORWARD is to change the way we work and the hybrid office (and therefore video conferencing) is undoubtedly here to stay. However, although remote working has the potential to make work better for people and people better at work, nothing comes without a downside.

And that is why I am proud of Collaboration Squared – our main ethos is to remove frustration and improve human connection. Our product Video Window is being adopted more and more by companies who are not simply focussing on productivity, but who care about the mental health of their employees…

Remote workers cite the same 3 problems:

  • Loneliness
  • Collaboration issues
  • Mental fatigue or being unable to “switch off”

Video Window really does address these issues for those remote workers or inter-office teams who need connections with colleagues to feel happy and productive in their work. Get in touch to find out more, or see for yourself and TRY IT FREE!

Thanks team!
