Video Window Launches 4K and Ultrawide “Immersive” Support for Hybrid Workspaces
Video Window, the world’s first always-on video conferencing portal with deployments in 44 countries, has announced major platform upgrades, including 4K video feed quality and support for large-format ultrawide displays. Designed to create an extension of physical space between office common areas and hybrid remote employees, these enhancements take persistent video conferencing to the next level.
The new Video Window Immersive feature supports ultrawide displays in 21:9 and 48:9 formats, ranging from 81” to 105”, allowing real-time office video to fill the entire screen without black bars. This enables continuous video for team collaboration, walk-up video conferencing, drop-in video communication, and instant video communication for teams—making it feel as though remote participants are physically present.
Previously limited to 720p, Video Window now delivers up to 2160p / 4K resolution, providing crystal-clear visuals on even the largest displays. The platform also allows organisations to combine live video with digital signage for corporate messaging, creating a versatile canvas for office spaces.
