Video Window Powers First-Ever Portal in Asia, Launching in Manila

Video Window, the world’s first always-on video conferencing portal operating in 64 countries, has powered the launch of the first Portal in the Asia region, now live in Manila. The installation marks a major expansion of the global Portal network, creating a permanent digital link between Asia and cities across Europe and North America.

Developed by the Portals Organization and powered by Video Window technology, the Manila Portal delivers 24/7/365 live video connectivity, enabling real-time, unscripted human interaction across continents. The installation connects Manila with existing Portals in Dublin (Ireland), Philadelphia (USA), Lublin (Poland), Vilnius (Lithuania), and Ipswich (UK), forming a shared “window to the world” between cultures and communities.

The public launch in Manila drew hundreds of attendees, with strong engagement from local residents and visitors experiencing the Portal throughout the day. The unveiling was covered by local television news and generated millions of online impressions as images and videos of the Portal circulated widely on social media.
